At the end of time that’s to come
a day of horror and dread
the Righteous Judge is set to rule
the company of the dead

who have refused to bow their knee
now made to bow in shame
they must confess that Christ is Lord
in honor of His name
____
...and not a plea for mercy’s sake
they know their guilt and fear
thus sin is judged without the cross
their second death is near
____
the burning of the lake of fire
the screams of all who wail
are not consumed but yet remain
in agony’s travail
____
and when the saints of God shall see
the last soul which was lost
being cast alive in damnation
to pay a heavy cost
____
then all tears of the Lord’s redeemed
as sadness takes its toll
are then removed by God’s dear hand
as love must now console
____
for now is the time to witness
each effort’s not in vain
the cross must be preached in earnest
by all who now remain
